As a key member of our product management team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a seamless, user-friendly, and intuitive online experience that enables consumers to explore, compare, and purchase health insurance with ease.  The Digital Shopping Experience Product Manager will be responsible for defining product vision, developing business cases, and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging technologies that enhance personalization, streamline decision making, and improve conversion rates.  This person will design, build, and launch digital solutions that enhance the shopping experience for our customers – all in service of making our members’ health journeys easier.

What You Bring to Cambia: 

Qualifications and Certifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or Certification in product management, such as Certified Product Manager (CPM) or Agile Certified Product Manager (ACPM)

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on digital product development

  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Attributes (Not limited to):  

  • Experience managing complex products with multiple end-user and purchaser personas and stakeholders. 

  • Strong understanding of insurance shopping processes and technologies, including e-signatures, digital documents, and regulatory constraints. 

  • High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. 

  • Ability to negotiate and resolve complex and sensitive issues with diplomacy and persuasiveness. 

  • Analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases. Ability to clearly communicate these data insights to others through written and other forms of documentation. 

Nice to Have: 

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban. 

  • Experience with product management tools, including JIRA, Confluence, or Mural. 

What You Will Do at Cambia (Not limited to):   

Product Vision and Strategy: 

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity in healthcare insurance, with a focus on commercial plans. 

  • Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for our digital shopping experience containing multiple products, aligned with company goals and objectives. 

  • Operates with a high level of autonomy, designing work plans, resource requirements, and organizational strategies required to accomplish necessary analysis and decision-making

Product Development: 

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and operations, to design, build, and launch digital solutions that enhance the shopping experience. 

  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, backlogs, and requirements documents for presentation to executives and department heads. 

  • Ensure that products and processes meet customer needs, are scalable, delivered in a predictable cadence, and align with company standards. 

  • Collaborate with UX and UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that simplify the shopping experience

Business Case Development: 

  • Use internal and external data to drive the business cases to support investment in Digital Shopping Experience solutions, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculations, and customer impact assessments. 

  • Develop and maintain a plan comparison tool that enables users to easily compare and select healthcare insurance plans. 

  • Ensure that plan details, including benefits, pricing, and network information, are accurate and up-to-date. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize resources for product and process development

Stakeholder Management: 

  • Provides main interface and acts as product relationship manager with heads of each department. 

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors to evangelize product value

Metrics and Analysis: 

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product and process success, including customer adoption, savings, satisfaction, plan conversions, and retention. 

  • Analyze data and customer feedback to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement. 

  • Leads product discovery efforts to come up with new and improved solutions for user and business needs

The expected hiring range for The Product Manager III is $134.3k–$181.7k, depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history; and work location. The bonus target for this position is 15%.  The current full salary range for this position is $126k Low/ $158k MRP / $206k High
