This role is a secondment to our client and will be based in the client's office. This is a 1-year secondment.

Role Description

Our client is a large hospitality client seeking an in-house Digital Performance Media expert who will be responsible for managing paid media channels such as paid search, metasearch, display & social prospecting and retargeting for the APAC region. The role requires management of media agency to achieve digital performance objectives (growth and efficiency), thorough detailed analysis to ensure YoY growth, recommendation of tests-and-learns, scaling through new channels, and creative optimisation.

What will I be doing?

As the Manager, Digital Paid Media - APAC, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks:

  • Work with the media agency on a day-to-day to deliver targets set during annual & quarterly planning.
  • Analyse different campaign sets to track period-on-period growth and find opportunities for expansion.
  • Work with creative agencies to deliver new versions of creatives aligned to platform best practices to improve performance.
  • Drive revenue growth and efficiency gains within performance media channels and making improvements to process across PPC, display, social, retargeting, meta search, and affiliates.
  • Lead the activation of new initiatives with the media agency, based on historical data and best practices.
  • Project manage implementation of tests to ensure activation is completed on time and on budget.
  • Maintain reports with historical performance for internal updates as well as regular performance analysis.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to coordinate the launch of new hotels on lower & mid funnel channels
  • Managing external partners to deliver ROAS performance on paid media channels.

Nice-to-have

  • Maintain strong awareness of channel trends and positions how to activate / take first mover advantage.
  • Innovate in media channels and feed into the development and prioritization of media technologies to advance our capabilities and ways of working.
  • Being aware of departmental priorities and implements a clearly defined roadmap to achieving them.

Role Requirements

  • BA / BS / Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in online marketing roles in APAC
  • Hands-on knowledge of managing and optimising digital channels (either client-side or agency side).
  • Experience planning, managing and optimising paid search / online activity to budget and revenue targets.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Google Ads & Campaign Manager.
  • Good understanding of website tracking, and experience using either Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics

  • Project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Extensive experience reviewing & manipulating data and developing insights.
  • Travel or hospitality experience is not a pre-requisite but could be advantageous.
