Hitachi Energy is currently looking for a Design Engineer for the High Voltage Business to join their team in Vadodara, Gujrat, India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual.

Mission Statement
- Preparation of technical documents / instructions for product
- Conduct RCA of product failures and prepare analysis reports
- Maintenance of master data related to product in SAP
Your Responsibilities

Supervise all stages of new product development right from evaluating technical feasibility, design, prototyping, component development and type testing

Design, development, verification, testing and validation of product or product components.

Preparation of technical documents / instructions for product

Evaluation of product related technical specification requirements from customers.

Co-ordination with various functions viz. Marketing, Order handling, Operations, SCM, Quality, Service, Finance, Technology Centre, Global Product Support

Interaction with customers for product approval & technical clearances.

Conduct RCA of product failures and prepare analysis reports.

Maintenance of master data related to product in SAP

Co-ordination in Type testing of HV Circuit breakers

Your Background
-
Educational qualification: Degree in Engineering
-
Experience required: : 3 to 6 years in Engineering/Design of HV Products ( Preferably HV Circuit Breakers).

Competencies:
Technical: Conversant with high voltage switchgear fundamentals. Make design improvements in existing products/design new products.

Understanding the requirements and expectations of customers and get them translated in design documents. Understanding National & International standards, Analytical skill to solve complex issues, Knowledge on different materials and manufacturing processes related to Switchgear Industry, ERP System, PLM
