We are seeking a seasoned and innovative Customer Marketing Manager to lead and optimize the marketing funnel and processes for cross-sell and upsell opportunities.

This role will focus on driving customer engagement, retention, and expansion while aligning marketing strategies with key business objectives. As a leader, you will oversee global initiatives that enhance customer lifetime value and satisfaction

Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Leadership and Vision
  • Develop and execute a global customer marketing strategy centered on cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Partner with senior leadership (e.g., VP of CX, VP of Sales, VP of Marketing) to align customer marketing with overall business goals.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate brand guidelines and digital initiatives for consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Collaborate with communications teams to feature key customers in case studies, testimonials, and events.
  • Customer Retention and Revenue Expansion
  • Create and implement strategies to drive revenue growth through cross-sell and upsell campaigns, focusing on platform adoption and product-line contributions.
  • Develop lifecycle marketing initiatives to engage high-value customers and enhance retention.
  • Manage customer engagement programs to ensure awareness of new products, services, and features.
  • Implement lead nurturing strategies to guide customers through the upsell funnel and maximize revenue potential.
  • Campaign Execution and Optimization
  • Plan, manage, and execute cross-sell and upsell campaigns across multiple channels, including email, in-product messaging, events, and digital advertising.
  • Lead A/B testing and use experimentation to optimize campaign performance and messaging.
  • Report on key metrics (e.g., NRR, ARR, and campaign impact) to provide actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Leverage customer data and market research to refine engagement, loyalty, and product adoption strategies.
  • Analyze product usage data to identify growth opportunities and recommend improvements.
  • Utilize tools such as Salesforce and marketing automation platforms to monitor and optimize campaign performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with product, sales, product marketing, and customer success teams to align strategies with customer feedback and business needs.
  • Collaborate with corporate marketing and communications teams to ensure cohesive customer-facing messaging and branding.
  • Customer Advocacy and Review Management
  • Drive advocacy programs to secure customer participation in speaking engagements, press opportunities, and case studies.
  • Manage initiatives to generate traffic and positive reviews on third-party review sites, enhancing brand reputation and influencing the buying process.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working in B2B technology marketing 
  • Experienced with PLG and/or product led marketing
  • Proven project management and cross-functional collaboration experience
  • Hands-on exp with managing intent platforms and vendors (6sense, clearbit, Techtarget)
  • Understanding of the sales pipeline and inbound methodology from lead to opportunity and very familiar with marketing contribution to this pipeline
  • Comfortability with managing multiple programs simultaneously and constantly prioritizing projects to create an effective digital journey for the intended audience
  • Strong track record of driving successful automated nurture campaigns
  • Exp with email marketing, paid retargeting, intent monitoring, social, content syndication, webinars, events
