Position Overview:As a Customer Account Manager, you will be instrumental in serving as the primary point of contact for customers, promoting Finning and Caterpillar equipment, products, and services in the Northwest Territories. You will manage assigned customer accounts, driving growth in equipment, parts, and service sales through strategic planning and execution. Your responsibilities will include identifying opportunities, developing tailored sales and marketing strategies, and coordinating their implementation to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.

Job Description:

Accountabilities:

  • Achieve revenue growth and profitability targets.

  • Maintain long-term relationships with customers, Caterpillar, internal departments, and staff.

  • Understand customers’ economic models and develop timely deal strategies.

  • Maintain accurate and current client information using Finning’s Sales Support software.

  • Provide optimal solutions to customers inclusive of their equipment, parts and service needs

  • Forecast new equipment sales and achieve budget revenue targets.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in the Heavy Equipment Industry is an asset.

  • Minimum 3-5+ years of Sales Management or Account Management experience, with knowledge of service operations.

  • Strong knowledge of products and services related to the General Construction industry (Compact Construction Equipment and Building Construction Products).

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Expert persuasion skills and the ability to captivate an audience during presentations and product demonstrations.

  • Self-driven, tenacious, and optimistic, bringing energy, passion, and positivity to the team.

  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools
