CSRD Compliance Manager

We seek a CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) Compliance Manager to ensure our Group sustainability statements meet all legal requirements. About the Role
As the CSRD Compliance Manager, you will be a key member of our Corporate Sustainability team and Group Control within Group Finance. Based at our head office in Waterfront Building in Stockholm, you will report directly to the IFRS and CSRD Compliance Director in Hamburg. You will support senior management, the Sustainability Reporting team as well as other functions contributing to Essity’s sustainability statements in driving compliance and optimizing preparatory processes and ways of working.

What You Will Do

Own and document Essity’s value chain analysis and double materiality assessment.

Ensure Essity's sustainability statements meet all legal requirements.

Align Essity’s sustainability policies and procedures with best practices in reporting.

Engage in and contribute to sustainability-related projects.

Liaise between Group functions and functions delivering sustainability reporting.

Collaborate on completing sustainability questionnaires.
Who You Are
-
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Legal, or related field

At least five years of experience in sustainability reporting, consulting, assurance, or similar

Experience in an international environment is a plus

Familiarity with regulations; experience with ESRS is a plus

Excellent communication skills in written and spoken Swedish and English

Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset

Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and technologies

Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

Ability to collaborate and communicate with senior stakeholders with inclusivity, respect, and integrity
