Who Boundless Is

We’re a team of immigrants and experts who have struggled with our own journeys through the complex, high-stakes U.S. immigration system. We are building customer-centric products and experiences to become the first trusted brand in immigration. We are the largest player in the family immigration industry, and a high-growth challenger serving corporate clients. Across both consumer and business segments, we’ve helped over 100,000 individuals and 1,000 businesses to successfully navigate the convoluted immigration process.

Today, we are a dynamic growth-stage technology company with 350+ employees across the U.S. and Philippines. We are growing both organically and through strategic acquisitions. We are well-capitalized, backed by influential venture investors around the country—including Foundry Group (led by Brad Feld), Emerson Collective (Laurene Powell Jobs’ foundation), Pioneer Square Labs, Two Sigma Ventures, Trilogy Equity Partners, and Jerry Yang.

What You’ll Do

We are looking for an experienced consumer Product Designer to lead the design for Boundless's family immigration products as we expand to help millions of immigrants around the world. You will be responsible for creating intuitive designs that simplify complex immigration processes.  You’ll work directly with executive leadership, product management, and engineering to develop a product roadmap that expands the platform’s user experience, capabilities, and reach. Beyond project work, you’ll help further the design culture at Boundless as one of the earliest design leaders.

In this role, you will:

  • Work within a product team to understand customer needs, business goals, constraints, market opportunities
  • Conduct and synthesize research to understand customer needs and validate design decisions
  • Design new features and services from the ground up, sometimes starting with broadly defined loose concepts, sometimes on narrowly defined, tactical features
  • Partner with executives and cross-functional leaders (e.g. product, engineering, growth), informing shared decisions with your unique design perspective
  • Partner with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation of designs and iterating based on feedback
  • Work with fellow designers to expand and evolve the Boundless design system
  • Foster a culture of design excellence, creativity, and collaboration

We are looking for:

  • 5+ years of professional experience designing digital products
  • Passion for transforming immigration for businesses and employees
  • Web design experience for mobile and desktop
  • Strong interaction and visual design skills
  • A portfolio that shows your proven ability to create intuitive, beautiful experiences
  • Experience conceiving and iterating on features based on research, data, and strategy
  • Experience conducting user research and testing to validate design decisions
  • A strong collaborator and communicator with designers and non-designers alike
  • Proficiency in Figma

What We Do

Boundless is a Series B technology company providing immigrants with the tools, information, and personalized support to navigate their immigration journey with confidence. We’re a team of immigrants and experts who have struggled with our own journeys through the complex, high-stakes U.S. immigration system. Just like millions of other families, we’ve had to choose between paying thousands of dollars in legal fees or spending months trying to figure out how to do everything ourselves. We knew there had to be a better way. That’s what we’re building, after hundreds of conversations with families, immigration lawyers, and government officials — a trusted partner and guide for your entire immigration journey.

Why Work With Us

Boundless is disrupting the status quo, and paving the way for Immigration Tech. To make a meaningful difference in the lives of immigrants, we think without bounds by reimagining the immigrant experience. We are building a culture that reinforces inclusion and belonging, not just for our employees, but also for our customers.
