Blue Yonder Title: Operations Manager
Overview
Blue Yonder is seeking a Sr. Consulting Operations Analyst to join our Consulting Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing operational and analytical support to our clients and delivering high-quality solutions that meet their needs. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions that drive efficiency and productivity.
What you'll do:
- Work closely with business owners to identify and document key business processes and workflows
- Development & Communicate policies and operational business requirements.
- Contribute to policy & procedure implementation documentation
- Perform revenue forecasting for both Time and Material and Fixed Bid project types
- Ability to perform system/data root cause analysis and summarize findings for business leaders
- Generate and report key PS metrics for business leaders. These would include - Billable Utilization, Professional Services Financials, Net Promotor Score & Non-Bill Investments
- Collaborate with Professional Services leaders to provide reports focused on financial and resource management data to aid with revenue and budgetary goals.
- Understanding and communicating organization policies.
- Ability to fully review and understand terms of contracts (SOWs, PSAs, Order Documents, Etc.) as it impacts billing/invoicing, payment terms and special accounting needs.
- Collecting data from various internal and external sources to prepare analytical reports that support decision making
- Maintaining an organized database (i.e. Sharepoint, Teams site, etc.) of all collected information to ensure efficient and effective data retrieval and reporting
- Act as liaison between different Blue Yonder business units
- Routinely reviewing data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and errors to address them promptly
Skills Required
- 3-5 years’ experience as Business / Operational Analyst (Professional Experience preferred)
- Professional Services Automation Software (PSA) experience (Upland Tenrox experience a plus)
- Salesforce experience
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business processes and workflows
- Experience facilitating workshops and focus groups
- Strong communication, organization, and planning skills
- Experience developing business requirements
- Experience developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations
- High level of competence with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to plan and resolve unexpected problems quickly and efficiently
- Self-starter, positive, creative problem solver.
- Proven experience with excel and other data/reporting/analysis tools
- Salesforce experience
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical ability
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent
