We are seeking a talented individual who will play a vital role in overseeing all operational aspects of the Representative Office of Sandoz d.d. in Uzbekistan. As the Compliance & Legal Manager, you will collaborate closely with our Legal & Compliance Cluster team, you will contribute to shaping and executing a Global Compliance strategy that is in line with our business objectives and Compliance & Legal priorities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve handling legal and corporate operations, managing reporting processes, overseeing contract management applications, and supporting initiatives to enhance legal excellence within Sandoz Uzbekistan.
Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities:

Lead compliance and risk management processes to drive business priorities while protecting the company and best serving our customers and patients.

Develop, refine, and adapt the ethics, risk and compliance program to meet evolving requirements and promote consistently high standards and operational excellence

Provide legal advice and guidance to the business, as well as manage compliance with legal requirements.

Ensure corporate governance of Sandoz Uzbekistan (accreditation, PoAs, permits, reporting, etc.)

Relationship (from legal point of view) with the relevant state authorities (participation in the meetings, drafting the proposals on legislation changes, etc.)

Ensure timely and high-quality analysis of legislation, legislation drafts and their potential impact on business processes of Sandoz Uzbekistan
What you’ll bring to the role:
-
Minimum level of education - Law School graduate
-
In-depth knowledge of Uzbekistan legislation
-
Minimum 5 years post qualification experience required: ideally gained within a healthcare / pharmaceutical environment, and/or, with a top-tier law firm representing healthcare & technology clients.

Experience in managing Legal & Compliance work and projects

Fluency in Uzbek, Russian and English essential

Strategic mindset, excellent judgment at a complex organizational level, and proactive and dynamic style that fosters informed decision making, particularly on challenging, complex and difficult issues

Financial/business acumen and business partnering skills

Demonstrate professional & culturally sensitive work ethics
