Job Description:
Role Summary To lead and oversee the organization's communications strategy, protect and promote the brand, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels while managing a team of communications professionals.Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive internal and external communication strategies aligned with company goals, providing strategic advice to leaders across all organizational levels
- Formulate and manage reputation risk and crisis management procedures, including developing proactive and reactive crisis communication plans.
- Define and execute a comprehensive PR strategy to promote the brand and reputation, including media relations, social media management, and executive communications.
- Lead and manage the internal communications plan, drafting employee communications and executive presentations to share company news and promote company culture.
- Align communication strategies with client & marketing teams, implementing cross-functional initiatives to amplify messaging and maximize media exposure.
- Establish KPIs for PR initiatives and coordinate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, public relations with at least 3 years in leadership role
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skill across various mediums
- Proven experience in developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies
- Strong media relations skills and crisis communication experience, with internal/employer brand experience is a plus
