The COE Team Lead for AU Controllership will be a handson accountant with offshore experience, overseeing the daily operations of the offshore team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
This role involves managing a team of accountants, coordinating with onshore counterparts, and ensuring timely compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

About The Role:
- Financial reportingOversee the delivery of scheduled and ad-hoc tasks, ensuring timely completion.
- Reconciliation/ DocumentationEnsure the timely and accurate reconciliation of all GL accounts and maintain documentation in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Reconciliation/ DocumentationReview work quality and ensure agreed checks and balances are performed
- CoordinationMaintain planners and checklists in a timely manner, and communicate any anticipated delays to the onshore team for agreement.
- Team ManagementManage daily team availability, daily workload and monthly performance KPIs
- Training and development Ensure team members are cross-skilled to reduce individual dependencies.
- Training and developmentPlan for team succession and retention, and provide opportunities for professional and behavioral development training.
- Process improvementDevelop and implement process improvement plans, outlining key success behaviors.
- Process improvementEnsure process notes are documented and updated, including escalation criteria and matrices, and detail key check points.

About You:
- EducationCA Intermediate or finalist
- Experienceminimum 10 years experience in reporting and controllership activities
- AccountingWorking knowledge in accounting and application of accounting principals
- SpecificHas managed offshore team previously
- LeadershipManaged and developed a team of junior finance talent
- SystemKnowledge in MS Excel and powerpoint
- CommunicationExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English
