This role ensures that the platform aligns with broader organizational strategies, supports teams through best practices, onboarding, data architecture framework designs and overall architectural consultancy, driving the full realization of DCP value across diverse use cases.
Job Description
SOLUTION DESIGN
As a Cloud Data Architect at Red Bull, you will be responsible for designing scalable frameworks and analytics solutions on the Data Cloud Platform. You will define governance and security frameworks to ensure data integrity and compliance within the organization. Additionally, you will develop best practices and reference architectures for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
GUIDANCE & SUPPORT
In your role, you will provide consultancy to project teams and key stakeholders on the best practices for data architecture and engineering. You will facilitate the adoption of innovative technologies, tools, and methodologies within the organization to enhance overall efficiency. Furthermore, you will collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure seamless data integration across the enterprise.
TRAINING & MENTORSHIP
You will conduct training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs for stakeholders of the Data Cloud Platform to ensure they are proficient in utilizing the platform's capabilities. You will develop and maintain technical documentation, guidelines, and best practices to support the consistent and effective use of the Data Cloud Platform across the organization. Additionally, you will provide ongoing mentorship and architectural guidance to data engineering and analytics teams.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
In this role, you will monitor and optimize the performance of the platform to ensure it remains scalable, efficient, and reliable, meeting the evolving needs of the organization. You will drive innovation by staying informed about market trends and applying relevant advancements in cloud-based data platforms. You will also develop automation strategies to enhance the efficiency of data pipelines and reduce operational overhead, thereby improving overall productivity and performance.
Qualifications
Proven experience in designing and managing Data Cloud Platforms (e.g., Snowflake or equivalent technologies)
Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT best practices (e.g., Dagster, DBT, Fivetran)
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Expertise in architectural design and consultancy for data platforms
Hands-on experience in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
Ability to onboard and train technical teams on platform usage and best practices
Experience in data security, governance, and compliance frameworks
Strong stakeholder management skills with a product mindset (e.g., owning roadmaps, aligning business objectives)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Additional Information
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,471 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
