About This Opportunity:

The Client Marketing Consultant serves as a trusted advisor and marketing solution expert, providing restaurant marketing and growth expertise to our Mid-Market clients. This role will be responsible for managing the client relationship with independent restaurant owners as well as providing timely, tailored solutions to address the evolving, unique marketing challenges of each client. In this role, we expect 75% of capacity to be attributed to client relationship management and marketing project management. An additional 25% is focused on strategy for leading growth and marketing success for our clients by conducting research and staying updated on industry trends to provide innovative solutions


At this time, we are prioritizing candidates in the Pacific and Mountain time zones.

What You Will be Responsible For:

  • Partnering with Restaurant Owners: Establish personal rapport and serve as the point of contact for clients in your portfolio. Work with clients to identify current and future business goals, including welcoming new customers into a new marketing partnership and maintaining consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with project stakeholders to set and manage acceptable expectations.
  • Restaurant Marketing Expertise: Stay up to date on restaurant industry trends, marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to provide clients with expert guidance and innovative solutions. Act as a trusted advisor to restaurant owners by understanding their unique challenges and opportunities, and offering creative, actionable recommendations to grow their business. Find new marketing opportunities for clients and empower clients to build stronger relationships with their guests to achieve desired results.
  • Marketing Strategy Implementation: Build strategic marketing campaigns that are unique to each client’s business goals utilizing a diverse set of marketing tactics, including social media, email marketing, SMS marketing, paid advertising, influencer marketing, print marketing, LTOs, and SEO. This includes direct Popmenu marketing strategies as well as in-store marketing strategies. Analyze and consult on opportunities as they arise, as well as proactively report on the ROI of past campaigns to educate future campaigns.
  • Marketing Project Management: Take ownership of managing and executing marketing projects each month, ensuring all deliverables are on-brand, high-quality, and aligned with client goals. This includes coordinating with a team of content creators to deliver projects that drive desired client conversions while meeting creative expectations. Proactively manage timelines, communicate progress effectively, and ensure all projects are completed efficiently and with excellence.

  • Bottom line: In this role it is your responsibility to make sure that our clients have top quality marketing campaigns that drive their desired outcomes and align with their brand. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 2+ year(s) of business experience in marketing and/or account management. Experience in SaaS, and/or the food service/hospitality industry is desirable.
  • Email Marketing and Social Media Marketing (Instagram, Facebook, etc.,) experience is required.
  • Experience with paid advertising (Google, Meta) is a plus.
  • Fluency in Canva design tools, with strong sense of color, typography, and layout is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal/customer relations skills; clear and concise verbal and written communicator with the ability to effectively prevent or mediate conflict.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and executing campaigns to support a portfolio of client goals and business needs.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, proven ability to complete long-term goals and handle critical tasks and issues at the same time.
  • Natural curiosity and willingness to learn, whether it’s new technical and marketing skills or understanding the client's brand and environment.
  • Passion for restaurants, dining out, and helping independent restaurant owners grow their business and solidify their position as staples of our communities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, is required
