Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: develop and implement visionary business strategies together with innovation and technical teams to translate technology developments into actionable business opportunities.
- Implementation Leadership: Lead the deployment of new technologies and innovations by creating and utilizing playbooks, frameworks, and tools that guide execution and maximize impact.
- Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with customers, helping them integrate new technologies into their products and services. Act as a trusted advisor, guiding them through the innovation process to ensure successful outcomes.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with innovation initiatives and create effective risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of market trends and competitive activities to identify opportunities for breakthrough innovations. Utilize insights to inform strategic decisions and develop actionable business cases.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to cultivate a culture of innovation, ensuring that teams are aligned and engaged in the implementation of new technologies.
- Communication and Marketing: Utilize strong communication and marketing skills to visualize and articulate technical and innovation topics for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and engagement.
- Self-Driven and Results-Oriented: Demonstrate a proactive, goal-oriented approach to achieving personal and team objectives. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, outcomes, and strategies related to innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or related field is required.
- 5+ years of related work experience in Business Technology
- Master of Business Administration is required
- Business Model Tools: Proficiency in using various business model development tools such as Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas, Lean Canvas, and SWOT analysis to analyze, design, and validate innovative strategies.
- Implementation Technologies & Playbooks: Familiarity with specific implementation playbooks such as Agile and Scrum methodologies, DevOps frameworks, Digital Transformation Roadmaps, OKR (Objectives and Key Results) playbooks, and Change Management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR model) to guide the deployment of innovation projects.
- Communication and Marketing Skills: Ability to break down complex technical topics into easy-to-understand language for different audiences, from experts to non-specialists. Visual Storytelling, content creation (videos, case studies), tailored messages, engaging presentations, responsive to feedback.
- Experience in Technology: Demonstrated enthusiasm for technological advancements and a strong understanding of their practical applications in business settings.
- Leadership in Implementation: Proven experience leading the deployment of new technologies and innovations, with a track record of creating and utilizing playbooks, frameworks, and tools to guide execution and maximize impact.
- Self-Driven and Results-Oriented: Demonstrate a proactive, goal-oriented approach to achieving personal and team objectives. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, outcomes, and strategies related to innovation.
