Job Title
Business Finance Analyst (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the specific data model of our FinOps Eco-System.
- Produce and maintain Microsoft PowerBI reports tailored to the needs of the Finance Organization.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to translate finance requirements into data insights.
- Conduct complex financial analysis to determine present and future performance.
- Document all data and findings thoroughly and present them to appropriate management personnel.
- Support negotiations, business assessments, pricing, financial modeling, proposal approvals, and post-mortem analysis.
- Communicate results and present business recommendations to upper and executive-level management, including cost reduction measures, revenue generation ideas, and operational improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- First experience with Microsoft PowerBI or a similar tool (e.g., Tableau).
- Strong appetite for data crunching and exploring.
- Basic understanding of finance is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL and BI tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in complex situations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present findings to executive-level management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with FinOps is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with AI applications for cloud cost optimization is desirable.
