What You'll Get to Do as a Business Development Manager:

We are seeking a Business Development professional to join OneGlobe's Business Development efforts. You will win business for OneGlobe by leveraging experience across the Federal business development life cycle from opportunity qualification through capture, proposal and project kickoff. You will lead business development efforts, including developing an in-depth understanding of the potential client’s requirements and buying history, competitive advantages, the formation of solutions, and assembling a team of experts to deliver meaningful solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with potential customers and manage current customer accounts.
  • Deliver strong financial results by driving successful account/ pipeline management and customer networking.
  • Shape business development processes and other growth strategies.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and propose competitive solutions for new and significant work.
  • Build a healthy, diverse, and sustainable business development pipeline of opportunities.
  • Establish account strategies, partnerships and shaping new business opportunities.
  • Lead efforts to target, pursue, and win new work outside of current client accounts.
  • Develop win strategies and solutions that offer competitive distinction and readily executable approaches.
  • Design and execute account/ call plans and reviews.
  • Evaluate potential teammates to ensure complete coverage of all opportunity requirements, and coordinate teaming activities and decisions.
  • Identify resources required to pursue a bid, and guide bid and proposal activities
  • Develop client network to gain information on needs, initiatives and preferences.
  • Review and evaluate RFP requirements to support Bid/No Bid decisions.

 You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience managing accounts and performing business development functions in support of competitive federal procurements. (Experience with FEMA, DoD, DHS, GSA, VA, DOI is a plus).
  • Knowledge of APMP/ Shipley best practices.
  • A track record of consistently winning competitive IT services procurements.
  • Ability to maintain effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners.
  • Proven success in the execution of all phases of account efforts, including deal strategy development, solution development, teaming strategy and development, solution marketing, and proposal participation.
  • Demonstrated skills in all areas of business development including: targeting, opportunity qualification, strategy, customer visits, customer relationship development, and relationship development with partner organizations.
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and federal contracting vehicles including GWACs and agency specific vehicles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills
