Business Development Intern
The Business Development Intern is responsible for providing support to the Business Development team in three primary areas:
- Data Quality and Research
- Lead Generation
- Project Support
Candidates Should expect the following:

The Role:
Data Quality and Research:
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities to identify new business prospects.
- Verify lead and account ownership and update customer records management (CRM) system. Verify lead contact details and updated CRM system.
- Assist in analyzing campaigns and business development strategies to improve effectiveness.
- Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to determine BDR impact and trends.
- Help in developing or improving pitch materials, working with our enablement team.
Lead Generation
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to align business development efforts with overall business goals.
- Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential leads that had interest in a solution at Minitab
- Assist in following up with mature MQLs to re-generate interest in Minitab
Project Support
- Work closely with the BDR manager to support additional projects/initiatives that are currently taking place
- Assist in reporting out on metrics within a certain project that is currently taking place
The Candidate:
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability and initiative to work effectively both independently and on a team.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language
MUST be available to work onsite at our Minitab Corporate Headquarters in State College, PA.
Remote work is not an option for this position.
