Job Description:
This role will typically require 20 hours a week with flexibility around school schedules. The term of employment will be for three months, with opportunities to apply for full-time positions if available. As an Intern, you will work closely with our Mergers & Acquisitions team to promote Volaris Group generating leads for potential acquisition opportunities.
Your duties will include:
- Researching and qualifying companies that meet our baseline acquisition criteria.
- Managing prospective accounts in our CRM (Salesforce).
- Utilizing Excel to organize and prioritize tasks.
- Assisting with note-taking during initial discovery calls with business leadership.
- Assisting with cold outreach to prospective accounts.
- Attend and participate in strategy meetings.
- Identifying relevant research organizations, advisory groups, and trade conferences.
This is an excellent role for someone looking to gain paid professional work experience and bridge the gap between higher education and real-world experience. The selected candidate will receive professional mentoring and training in business development, marketing strategies, and travel for networking events.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work under the supervision of an M&A Business Development Lead and support the team in strategic objectives. You will participate in weekly strategy meetings, data collection, and collaboration. You will have opportunities to observe and learn real-world applications related to marketing, sales, productivity tools, high-level business operations, and communications with C-Level executives.
