Job Summary
Associate Technical Evaluators are responsible for performing technical document-based reviews of food and other consumer products, generating compliance reports, and communicating with clients regarding their major non-compliance issues.
Responsibilities and Duties

Technical Evaluation: Conduct low-level reviews to assist in evaluating products, ingredients, facilities, and other items to meet the requirements of assigned Programs for certification and verification services.

Client Communication: Support communication with clients via phone and email to clarify requirements, address noncompliance issues, provide updates, and assist with evaluation-related questions. Ensure clear, professional, and timely responses.

Compliance Reporting & Data Management: Help run compliance reports, manage data, and track metrics to ensure accurate and up-to-date records. Communicate technical information effectively to stakeholders.

Collaboration & Process Improvement: Work closely with the Manager and Team Leads to identify areas for improvement and contribute to process enhancements. Participate in ongoing learning and development activities.

Training & Support: Assist in the technical training of new team members and help streamline workflows. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about process updates and improvements.

Administrative & Special Projects: Support administrative tasks and assist with special projects as assigned by the Manager.

Team Culture: Contribute to a positive team environment by fostering open communication and collaboration to achieve shared goals with the Evaluators Team, Technical Services, and FCID.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements
Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university in a scientific field, such as:

Microbiology

Biotechnology
1+ years’ experience in one of the following industries

Food regulation/certification/policy
-
Food manufacturing
-
Farming or seed production
-
Specialty foods
Equivalent combination of education and experience
