Summary:

In this role, you will serve as a resource for connecting contracts with internal and external stakeholders during the implementation process. You will execute implementation projects assigned by more senior associates for new and existing providers ensuring proper communication and connection to contracts that provide savings and generate revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare communication and documents required to launch implementation and track savings delivered to providers.

  • Validate implementation requests assigned by senior team members ensuring that facilities, contracts, and tiers are applicable and accurate.

  • Track and report out to implementation team on status of tasks and contract connection requests.

  • Serve as a resource to the team leads related to contract and pricing connections, providing guidance on what documents, data, and site involvement will be required.

  • Provide regular communication to implementation team related to project pipeline, implementation progress, potential barriers and savings captured.

  • Pre-populate and submit contract connection requests for spend-based cases, and follow-up with suppliers, distributors, and providers, to ensure pricing is accurate, resolving denials as needed.

  • Prioritize body of work (i.e., volume and deadlines) based on input as provided by more senior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • No prior work experience required.

  • Knowledge of Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) onboarding preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with spreadsheets preferred.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to react positively to shifting priorities for multiple projects simultaneously and to perform under pressure with tight deadlines. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of Vizient catalog and Contract Price Activation (CPA) tool is a plus.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $45,100.00 to $76,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
