Please note that this position is based in Princeton, NJ. Acadia's hybrid model requires this role to work in our office three days per week on average.

Position Summary: 

As a key member of the Neuroscience Consumer Marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of innovative U.S. marketing strategies and initiatives aligned with the ambitious 2025 Brand Plan. In this dynamic position, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and collaborate on impactful tactical plans and activities, while serving as a valuable individual contributor within the Digital Excellence & Consumer Marketing function. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to overall Consumer Marketing strategy development and annual budget planning
  • Contributes and leads various areas across the consumer marketing team during critical new campaign launch year
  • Serves as Consumer Ambassador Program lead, manages execution and optimization
  • Drives collaboration with the Advocacy team to deliver integrated tactics and programs
  • Collaborates with Brand Marketing to ensure a seamless customer experience (patient/caregiver and HCP)
  • Develops KPIs and measurement criteria related to core projects
  • Pulls through strategy for unbranded campaign
  • Leads the tactical planning for areas of responsibility
  • Evaluates innovative technologies and tactics aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Partners with cross-functional partners on relevant market research and metrics to refine access marketing strategies and/or tactics to help generate and/or incorporate customer insights.
  • Partners with and supports cross-functional departments/colleagues like HCP Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Sales, and Sales Training.
  • Manages related AOR(s) and supplier partners to drive tactical plan performance effectively and efficiently.
  • Develops and delivers presentations as needed to commercial leadership and other internal groups.
  • Participates in and adheres to MLR submission and review processes.
  • MTP Unbranded Website Execution, Management, Optimization and day to day lead including website, CRM, digital asset collaboration including social media
  • Manages and monitors related budget
  • Adheres to all corporate policies and industry guidelines in a compliant manner.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/ or business experience in Marketing or related field. MBA is a plus but not required. Targeting 6-8 years of progressively responsible experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry, including deep knowledge of consumer marketing. Experience in omnichannel marketing planning and execution including TV. New campaign launch and program experience required. Interest or experience in working with brand Ambassadors, Advocacy and Influencers. Neuropsychiatry, and caregiver experience highly valued.
  • Biopharma brand management and multi-channel tactical experience
  • Demonstrated experience building multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Demonstrated successes in one or more areas of marketing development, execution and measurement (e.g., market research, campaign development, program development, tactical implementation, ROI analysis)
  • Demonstrated experience directing partner suppliers
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated ability to interface/collaborate with other departments to achieve business goals
  • Negotiating skills, specifically with business partners or management and influencing senior-level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization
  • Skilled at effectively communicating department or area issues and results within and across functional areas and delivering presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or timelines. Able to gain the cooperation others.
  • Skilled at effectively leading a cooperative team effort and organizing resources to achieve team goals. Able to make and prioritize process and resource decisions based on overall team needs.
  • Skilled at building effective relationships
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of time

Physical Requirements:

This role involves regular standing, walking, sitting, and the use of hands for handling or operating equipment. The employee may also need to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and maintain visual, verbal, and auditory communication both in a standard office environment and while working independently from remote locations. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.  This position requires the ability to travel independently overnight and/or work after hours as required by travel schedule or business needs.
