How You'll Make an Impact

Manage accounts payable processes and monitor vendor accounts.

Process invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents.

Purchase materials according to technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms.

Support Senior Buyer with vendor management and accounts payable tasks.

Collaborate with various departments to understand procurement needs and specifications.

Analyze and report on key performance indicators related to procurement activities.

Stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new product developments.

Assist in developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures.
Your Background
-
High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related environment.

Strong experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Experience communicating via phone and email with vendors regarding ordering/invoice discrepancies.

Strong communication skills to work with different departments, including project management, off-shore accounting teams, field service technicians, quality, safety, and management.
