We are seeking a Support Analyst to join our Department of Internal Affairs Team supporting one of our key Government clients and play a key role in managing and resolving production incidents.

  • This role requires working closely with a multifunctional team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure the stability and reliability of our systems.
  • As a customer-facing role, the ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills and the ability to manage client expectations while maintaining our high standards of customer relationships.
  • Experience in incident management using ServiceNow and a strong problem-solving mindset.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve production incidents reported in ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing clear communication, managing expectations, and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and business teams to investigate root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Escalate critical issues to the appropriate teams and ensure follow-up until resolution.
  • Document incident resolutions, troubleshooting steps, and recurring issues for knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to automation efforts to enhance system stability.
  • Provide support for application releases, deployments, and post-release monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with IT service management (ITSM) best practices and organizational standards.
  • Planning and co-ordination change control via SDLC.
  • Co-ordinate, report, lead, and minute cyclic service delivery meetings between DXC production support team, client and vendor.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in incident management and ticket handling using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
  • Strong customer-facing experience with the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships.
  • Exceptional communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex production issues.
  • Familiarity with software development and testing processes to effectively communicate with development teams.
  • Basic understanding of databases (SQL), application logs, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in IT support, application support, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (.NET, SQL Server) or other relevant tech stacks.
