Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Manage and drive sales through channel partners and Individual service providers.
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their needs and concerns.
- Create demand from Klüber Lubrication products by showcasing the value these products and the service they can offer to the customers.
- Understand and interpret technical requirements of the customers and thereby recommend the right lubricant solution to the customer.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services, customized to the needs of the customer.
- Do benchmarking of products and solutions against competition and study market trends.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
- Capture visits, opportunities, reviews and other relevant reports in the CRM tool.
- Forecast and work closely with sales support and planning team to ensure availability of stock for sales and demonstrations.
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
- Manage customer accounts, grow an existing territory.
- Identify product improvements or new products by remaining aware of industry trends, product results, market activities etc.
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams as required.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
BE / BTech in Mechanical / Automotive with 1+ years of relevant sales experience.
Engineering degree with a full time MBA preferred.
Good hold over English, Tamil and Hindi
Experience in handling sales through Channel partners.
Ability to travel locally and nationally extensively.
Experience in sales and Market research.
Skills and personal attributes:
- Proficient in communicating in English, Tamil and Hindi.
- Must possess a sales mind set and should have technical skill set.
- Have proficiency in building relationships, negotiation and sales planning.
- Should have personal accountability, delegation skills, business acumen and be effective in communication, active listening and decision making.
- Basic knowledge of HSE and Quality
