Role Summary
We are looking for an analytics-savvy analyst to join External Fund Selection team as a (Manager).
The objective of this sub-team is to make good fund selection and allocation decisions, and to build a scalable engine of growth for GCIO.
The role will be responsible for performing fund selection and due diligence activities within GCIO.
Job Responsibilities:

Perform fund selection and due diligence analysis.

Clearly and concisely present this analysis to internal and external stakeholders.

Use data analysis to build deeper understanding of manager strengths and weaknesses.

Collaborate closely with other members of the team on portfolio management, operational and commercial issues.

Experience analyzing investments and / or funds.

Good communication skills
-
Strong English language skills and ideally a second Asian language

Financial certifications such as CFA, CAIA or FRM will be viewed favourably.
Job Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a role exposing the candidate to fund selection and / or investment management activities.

Strong analytical background, with experience using data analytics and software as part of daily activities.

Knowledge of investment strategies across asset classes and geographies. Ideally some knowledge of Fixed Income in particular.

Good team player, can work well with colleagues across different levels and departments.
