The Role:

Podium is seeking a dynamic AI Deployment Lead with an entrepreneurial mindset who blends business acumen with technical expertise to lead and scale the deployment of our AI agents for enterprise customers. In this pivotal role, you will actively engage with customers to conduct discovery sessions, refine business cases, and oversee the implementation of AI solutions that deliver significant ROI and business value. You'll work closely with senior leaders and technical stakeholders at customer organizations, as well as our internal engineers, to ensure the successful delivery and adoption of our AI agents. Your ability to think strategically, articulate value propositions, and drive initiatives will contribute directly to scaling our AI Agent Business.

*Please note that this position will require you to travel 35-45% of the time. 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Customer Discovery: Engage with enterprise customers to understand their business objectives, processes, and pain points to identify opportunities for AI Employees that maximize ROI.
  • Project Management: Create detailed project plans, set timelines, and manage resources to ensure on-time and within-scope delivery of AI solutions that meet or exceed business value targets.
  • Technical Coordination: Collaborate with internal engineers to guide the customization and development of AI agents that meet specific customer requirements and deliver expected ROI.
  • Hands-on Technical Engagement: Dive into technical details when necessary to troubleshoot issues and provide insights, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the AI solutions.
  • Business Value Articulation: Develop and refine business cases, clearly articulating the ROI and business value of deploying AI agents within customer workflows to senior stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial Scaling: Build the business and develop and implement strategies to scale our AI solutions across multiple customers and industries, focusing on delivering tangible business benefits.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with customers' senior leadership and technical teams to align on project goals, value propositions, and facilitate smooth communication.
  • Travel: Visit customer sites as needed to conduct on-site discovery, build relationships, and oversee deployment activities. This job is 35-45% travel. 

What You Should Have:

  • Experience: 5+ years in product management, solutions consulting, or a related role within the technology sector, with a focus on delivering ROI and measurable business value.
  • Business Acumen: Strong ability to understand and articulate business value propositions, ROI calculations, and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Technical Understanding: Strong knowledge of AI technologies, particularly large language models, and their practical business applications.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Proven ability to think strategically and working in a fast-paced technical environment to drive business growth and value creation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively with senior executives and technical teams.
  • Project Management Skills: Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from initiation to completion, delivering measurable business value.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through technology solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfort with technical concepts and the ability to engage in detailed technical discussions.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

What We Hope You Have:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • ROI Expertise: Experience in calculating and presenting ROI and business value to senior stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial Experience: Experience in startup environments or in roles that required building and scaling new initiatives.
  • AI/ML Experience: Hands-on experience with AI or machine learning projects.
  • Software Development Knowledge: Familiarity with software development life cycles and methodologies.
  • Change Management Experience: Proven ability to drive user adoption and manage change within organizations.
  • Passion for Innovation: A keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and technology trends.
