THE POSITION
Keyera is seeking an entry-level Administrative Assistant for a part-time position (three days per week) based at our Fort Saskatchewan Facility. This role will report directly to the Plant Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and welcome visitors, directing them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services.
  • Assist in maintaining office supplies and coordinating orders as needed.
  • Ensure security procedures are followed for visitors and employees.
  • Organizing plant documents then filing electronically and hard copies.
  • Confirm rates on timesheets. Then scan and file (electronically & hard copy).
  • Restock stationery supplies around the plant (including paper).
  • Enter data from F.S.F.F. filed log sheet onto the disposal well spreadsheet.
  • Pick up the mail from Post Office Box
  • Gather FHLA cards from maintenance.
  • Collect packing slips from the warehouse and file them in the library.
  • Tidy coffee areas – OPS, maintenance, and lunchroom.
  • Track and order janitorial stock.
  • Enter leakage data report – Brine Reports.
  • Take minutes for the HSE meeting (including entering & printing copies to hang on the wall).
  • Reconcile VISA receipts to monthly statement then file electronically.
  • Order coffee supplies & receive.
  • File Safe Work Permits into file box and take them up to the library.
  • Lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Running errands in town and other adhoc duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will be well-organized, energetic, and service oriented. An ambassador of Keyera’s Cultural Behaviors and Corporate Values. As part of our recruitment process, candidates will be required to complete a Microsoft Office skills assessment.

  • Minimum High School Diploma.
  • Post-Secondary Education is considered an asset.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with adaptability to learn new applications.
  • Team focused with an attention to detail and an ability to prioritize time sensitive deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Self-starter who can work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Must have a class 5 driver’s license.
