The Accounting Intern will assist the Finance team with special projects, including: 

• Support the streamlining and simplification of Accounts Receivable 

• Implementation of credit memo retention within Doclink 

• Migrate accounting files from the network server to OneDrive 

• Review and audit purchase card packets 

• Compile and process month-end close journal entries and account reconciliations 

• Additional assignments and projects as needed by Accounting Manager or Manager of Financial Reporting. 

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field 

• Rising Sophomore 

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF 

• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills 

• Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to all levels of the team 

• Strong desire to learn and question the status quo 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

• Exhibit ethical and honest behavior, willing to admit mistakes and seek help when needed 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Experience with data entry a plus 

• $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience and educational background 

• The internship will run for 12 weeks from May to August 

• Full Time, targeting 40 hours per week 

• Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and the needs of the business 

• This is a paid internship 

This position is based in our Corporate Office, and employees are expected to wear business casual dress. The office is connected to a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and may involve general exposure to a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, or other factors. Employees entering the manufacturing facility are required to wear high visibility vests, eye protection, ear protection, and steel-toed shoes.   

• Successful completion of a drug screening is required for this role 

• This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking. 

• May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time. 

• Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
