Our Finance department is looking for a Accountant to join their team, reporting to Finance Director and play a crucial role in supporting the finance activities for the continually growth of the company.
The role has a wide range of responsibilities and will require someone who can work accurately and to meet deadlines.
Job Description
Main Responsibilities to include:
- Accounts Receivables – preparation of revenue invoices and booking of customer receipts. Review ageing and follow up with overdue collections.
- Accounts Payables – send supplier invoices for approval, prepare payment runs and send for approval. Record supplier invoices and payments.
- Regular meetings with other team members (Property sales, Executive Search and Brand Consulting) to review the revenue billing trackers.
- Preparation of month-end posting journals, bank reconciliations, intercompanies reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensuring timeliness, accuracy and completeness of transaction processing into the financial system-Microsoft Dynamics 365(AX).
- Review of employee expenses on Concur by ensuring the correct documentation is provided and the cost is within Company policy.
- Play a key role in the annual statutory audits by preparing documentation and supporting schedules.
- Provide support in the budgeting and re-forecast process.
- Working alongside with Global Finance Team time-to-time.
- Assist the Finance Director in ad-hoc request.
- Assist with office administration when required.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2 years of Accounting/Audit working experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with an emphasis in Accounting, or professional qualification (CA/ACCA).
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proactive problem solving ability with interest in further development within the organisation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential as the role involves dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to be a team player with a conscientious and motivated attitude.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- An interest in Sports and other Accounting systems would be an advantage (e.g. SAP)
