Senior Accounts & Payroll Associate
Singapore
Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 6.00pm

Intro:
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors to maintain payroll records, resolve discrepancies, and ensure all payments and reporting are completed correctly.
Some of the things you'll be doing:
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees (monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly as applicable).
- Verify timesheets, attendance, leave records, and overtime claims.
- Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and other pay items.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including CPF, IR8A, taxes, and statutory contributions (e.g., in Singapore).
- Prepare payroll reports and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Manage payroll adjustments, reimbursements, and final settlements.
- Handle inquiries from employees regarding payroll, deductions, benefits, and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate employee records (e.g., new hires, terminations, promotions, etc.).
- Support year-end processes such as tax reporting and audits.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure data privacy for all payroll information.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience (2-5 years) as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software (e.g., Timesoft) and MS Excel.
- Familiarity with labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory compliance (e.g., CPF, SDL, IRAS submissions in Singapore).
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with confidential information.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
