Job Responsibilities
- Managing existing customer relationships to meet and exceed target revenue and profit
- Managing price, product mix, and implementing cross-sell and upsell programs at existing accounts
- Identifying new sales opportunities and converting these opportunities to Food and Beverage customers
- Managing the sales funnel; CRM reporting on customer account opportunity, performance, needs and risks
- Responding to customer proposal requests in your territory
- Educating customers on new product developments and application advances
- Tracking (at least monthly) his or her account(s)’ business performance
- Managing account conflicts
- Leveraging resources when appropriate to help his or her account(s) grow (e.g., requesting support of leadership, managing promotions, communications, newsletters, social media, etc.)
- Defining the sales forecast (financial / value chain forecast)
- Planning and replenishing dosing equipment with technical customer service
- Assisting marketing with pricing policy and competitive intelligence
- Training and mentoring junior and newly on boarded sales resources
Job Requirements / Skills
- Bachelor degree in Engineering/ Chemistry/ Food Tech/ Microbiology
- Has experience in similar roles and industry at least 5 years
- Strong sales knowledge
- Experience closing new and existing customer sales opportunities
- Experience in managing technical customer service
- Technical knowledge in the relevant sector is preferred
- Experience using sales admin and CRM tools and technology is required
- Driving Experience is a must
- Proficient in the English language
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex
