Your role:
Global Relay are looking for an experienced writer who is able to create diverse content to resonate with varying personas/regions/industries. Working hand-in-hand with the strategic Account Based Marketing (ABM) team, you will be responsible for understanding Global Relay’s core offering and creating content that aligns with ABM’s strategic goals.
Drawing on a foundational understanding of marketing and ABM strategies, you will work collaboratively across sales and marketing teams to ideate and deliver content that helps position Global Relay’s product offering and thought leadership in the market. Ideally, with demonstrable experience in financial services and/or B2B, you will work with the Head of Content and Senior ABM Manager to deliver factual, high-quality content to meet deadlines.
Your responsibilities:
- This New York-based role will report to the Head of Content and work closely with the ABM team to deliver tailored content to meet the ongoing ABM strategy
- Collaboratively working with the sales team, you will endeavor to understand strategic objectives and explore how content can assist in meeting those objectives
- Straddling Content and ABM, you will have demonstrable experience in both fields and work to deliver engaging content
- Using research and collaborative insight from sales, subject matter experts, and marketing tools, you will come up with creative concepts for content that resonate with specific buyer personas/industries/regions and deliver those concepts
- As a driven content creator, you will create high-quality written content across various mediums (website, email, blog, etc) to meet strict deadlines
- You will have a flexible working style, with the ability to pivot on topics or concepts dependent on changing business priorities
About you:
- Strong strategic writing skills – must be able to communicate complex ideas in a simple and engaging way with the ability to create compelling narratives that resonate with specific target accounts
- The ability to quickly grasp complex topics or developments, find the salient points, and create content to tight deadlines
- Experience in researching topics and personas, as well as the ability to keep up to date with the target industry trends, news, and competitive landscape to inform content strategy
- Demonstrable experience in creating content in various mediums (written/video/audio), personalized to specific prospects, customers, industries, or regions
- A natural desire to work collaboratively with product marketing, ABM, and sales teams to align specific solutions and services for each audience
- The ability to adapt writing styles/tone to cater to different accounts, buyer personas, or business goals across different stages of the buyer journey (awareness/consideration/decision)
- A strong understanding of ABM strategies across 121, 1-fw, 12-many and how multi-touch journeys play into these strategies
- Attention to detail, a keen eye for grammar/tone of voice, and the ability to meet the overarching company style guide
- A background of work within B2B technology firms and/or financial services is advantageous
- Experience in using CMS systems (WordPress), Demandbase, and content reporting tools (Google Analytics, Looker Studio)
Compensation:
Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with applicable pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background.
The range below reflects the expected annual base salary, which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy, culture and values. We aim to foster an inspiring work environment and support employees' work-life rhythms. We provide a comprehensive health benefits program, including extended health coverage, short-term and long-term disability insurance, and a health spending account. Employees receive annual allotted vacation days, which increase based on tenure. New York - Base Salary Range:
$75,000—$105,000 USD
