Office Manager at AAVAA
We are looking for an Office Manager to assist in Operations and Administration tasks at AAVAA as early as March 2025. AAVAA is a deep technology start-up in Montreal with the goal to give people control of their auditory environment, enhance the sounds they want to hear, and suppress distracting noise. To do so, AAVAA is developing a cutting-edge wearable device that detects and interprets brain and bio-signals, capitalizing on the novelty of Brain and Biosignal Synthesis, the robustness of Acoustics, and the strength of Artificial Intelligence. We are looking for:
A full-time assistant who will assist with various activities in operations and administration, including:
- Communicating through email and phone with candidates
- Managing daily operations of the office
- Ordering material, equipment, etc.
- Looking for financing opportunities
- Recruiting and testing participants
- Assisting in the preparation of experimental set-ups
Qualifications
- 2 year or more experience
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in related fields
- Excellent communication & writing skills (English)
- Knowledge/experience in accounting, human resources, and corporate governance for a secretary role
- Motivated, excited to learn, ability to work autonomously in a dynamic team
Above and Beyond
- Experience with Neuroscience or related fields
- Technical writing, patent writing, grant writing, etc.
- Updating our website and other marketing material
- Experience in facilitating experimental protocols with participants
