Defect and Failure Data Collection and Categorization solutions

Massive data used to evaluate yield, grade product, categorize defects and failures, and identify and fix design and process issues.

Data Visualization, Wafer Mapping, and Reporting Tools

Innovative solutions that Engineers use to report and display large amounts of data in ways that make it easier to see patterns and identify problems.

Advanced Image Processing and Analysis

Innovative solutions applying a variety of computer vision and machine learning techniques to analyze images, perform calculations, and recognize problems.

Laboratory Management and Product Verification

Solutions enabling laboratory workflow, information management, and vendor product verification.

Technology Development Process Capability Improvement

Large, evolving system(s) to manage process maturity and the manufacturing capability of each “process unit” developed in Technology Development.

The customers for our solutions cross the entire breadth of Micron’s Engineering fields focused on technology development, product engineering, yield improvement, and production. Our team will need to work directly with global customers to understand and fix issues, identify and address root causes, and collaboratively develop new tools and functionality.

In this job, you must be passionate about learning new domains, system architectures, languages, and technologies. With the strong communication and problem solving skills, you will be empowered to work with Micron’s engineering teams to create and maintain innovative software to support products that power our customer’s innovation.

What you will do:

• Analyze business needs to identify the problem.
• Analyze the software solution options.
• Build/Maintain modern web applications.
• Develop user friendly UIs to improve productivity.
• Adopt CI/CD, Cloud, Container technologies to build highly scalable solutions.
• Integrate 3rd party solutions.
• Collaborate with global project team to ensure all requirements are met.
• Support ongoing developments/operation for existing projects/applications.
• Work to maintain skills and improve the IT roadmap.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• Fluent English communication skill
• Proven experience in Web application development (for New College Graduates, school projects will be considered and reviewed)
• Solid foundation in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Familiarity with Web frameworks like Angular, React, Vue, Django or others
• Familiarity with REST API development and Backend development in C#/.Net Core and Python
• Linux/Windows scripting
• One or more of the following: MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL

Preferred Experiences:

• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing
• Cloud platform experience (Azure, GCP, AWS)
• Containerized development (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity and/or experience with the Agile methodology and tools like JIRA, Git, BitBucket and Confluence
• Perl, PHP, ASP.NET
• Microsoft .NET Framework and MVC architecture
• Familiarity with Incident Management processes and terminology.
• SQL/NoSQL database modeling and administration
• Test-driven development, continuous integration and deployment
• Familiarity with Network architecture concept and cyber/data security
• Microservices
• UI/UX concepts
