JR71159 Computer Vision Engineer
Micron is looking for computer vision engineers that can apply the appropriate technology to solve complex software and computer vision problems. A successful candidate can demonstrate the use of multiple languages, frameworks and subject areas. You will be encouraged to experiment with new technologies and must focus on continual learning of the ongoing evolution of software engineering and computer vision!
As an engineer in the Technology Development Engineering Solutions group, we have the opportunity to work on a broad set of technologies and solutions to enable Micron’s innovation. we're hiring positions focused on software solutions in the following category:
Advanced Image processing and analysis – We build innovative solutions applying a variety of computer vision, image processing and machine learning techniques to analyze images, perform calculations and determine measurements.
The customers for our solutions cross the entire breadth of Micron’s engineering fields focused on yield and technology development. You will be encouraged to work directly with engineers focused on defect analysis, electrical failure, process development, and other diagnostic solutions in development of solutions that improve efficiency as well as innovation using the newest technologies.
Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified candidates will have solid communication, leadership, problem solving skills and experience in working in a team environment that spans across different locations.

Customer focus and relationship building skills

Knowledge with semiconductor manufacturing processes preferred

Problem-solving skills in identifying issues and providing recommendations and solutions

A proven ability to drive for results and continuous improvement

Excellent skills in Mathematics, probability theory, machine learning, and computer vision

Basic knowledge of professional software engineering practices

Less than 2 years of relevant working experience
Experience with the following:

Programming languages: Python, Matlab, R

CV libraries: OpenCV, skimage

DL frameworks: PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras

Ability to apply algorithms from image processing (filters, morphology), computer vision feature detectors/descriptors) and machine learning (both traditional and deep learning) to different practical tasks.
Education:
B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another analytical field is required. Advanced degrees preferred. Equivalent experience and other related certifications will be considered.
