ROLE
The Logistics and Event Manager will report to and work in close cooperation with the scientific team to manage the Peer Review which will take place in Pristina in October 2025, in the framework of the project funded by DG ECHO “Peer review programme of disaster risk management and civil protection systems”.
The Logistics and Event Manager will be responsible for overseeing and supporting all logistical aspects of the Peer review, in close cooperation with the local authorities and international service providers.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with suppliers, vendors and transportation company
- Maintaining efficient logistical processes
- Supporting venue selection, catering, technical requirements, and participant registration
- On-site event management and troubleshooting
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in logistics management and event planning/management, preferably in EU-funded projects
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in English and Albanian
- Previous experience in Kosovo is a strong advantage
DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Please note that this opportunity will be issued both internally and externally.
- The Logistics and Event Manager will be based in Pristina (Kosovo).
- Contract will be of 2 months starting in September 2025; salary will be based on qualifications and working experience.
- Flexible working time as per internal policies.

What We Do
The Foundation Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change (CMCC) is a research centre on climate science and policy.
The CMCC:
- Integrates all studies on climate change and adaptation/mitigation policies
- Promotes collaboration and synergy with international organisations, policy makers, and industry
- Provides technical-scientific support to the institutions involved in the negotiation and international cooperation activities.
CMCC produces thorough studies regarding climate variability, causes, and consequences, through the development of high-resolution simulations based on global models of Earth systems and regional models, with a particular focus on the Mediterranean area.
CMCC's research assures the maintenance of highly reliable products and instruments, which are made available to the scientific community and to further studies on climate science and climate change impacts.
CMCC maintains, checks, and develops numeric model simulations, which are used to study the effects of climate change on the following areas: economy, agriculture, coastal areas, marine and land environment, hydrogeological cycle, carbon cycle and human health
