The person needs to become an expert in how the product operates and be the first stop for detecting problems in product prior to release. Work requires exercising judgment within generally defined practices in selecting methods or obtaining solutions.

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a get-it-done attitude who can work independently, learn quickly, and demonstrate initiative across assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with development and product support to verify the quality of product changes.
  • Manage automated test harnesses, including adding new test cases and debugging test harness failures.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, design reviews, code reviews, test plan analysis, and other work related to Zen product functionality.
  • Improve processes in existing testing infrastructure to ensure test harnesses and test cases are kept up to date with changes in Zen product functionality.
  • Create test strategies and plans encompassing a suite of reliable test cases.

Additional Skills:

  • In-depth debugging skills.
  • Log analysis, data analysis, and performance analysis tools.
  • Basic knowledge of B-Tree and key-value stores implementations.
