Your tasks and responsibilities

• Manufacturing of test benches or test equipment

• Assist with the setup and execution of robotic experiments

• Collaborate with team members to design and develop test equipment using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems.

• Ensure the laboratory is organized and well-maintained, including inventory management and equipment calibration.

• Support researchers and engineers in various tasks related to advanced robotics projects.

Desired skills and qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field such as Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong interest in robotics and automation technologies.

• Practical experience as a mechanic or electrician

• Professional training (apprenticeship) as mechanic or electrician is an advantage

• Programming skills in any language are an advantage

• Basic knowledge of CAD software for design purposes.

• Fluent English or German language skills, 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic research environment.
