The purpose of this role is to support the Case Management teams by providing up-to-date technical guidance on the compensation payment schemes and assisting in their administration. This position operates in a customer centric environment that focuses on the pro-active management of claims.

This will be a full time, permanent or 12 month contract position based in the Tweed Heads office, with flexibility to work from home. Relocation allowance for eligible candidates.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and work with the team on solutions to maximise the effectiveness of case management.

  • Ensure claims teams achieve performance and KPA targets as set out as part of the BU performance framework.

  • In conjunction with the Team Leader identify, develop and implement effective strategies to support the achievement of key performance and remuneration measures.

ABOUT YOU

  • Strong technical experience in workers’ compensation claims

  • Proven experience coaching & mentoring case managers in the workers compensation industry

  • Demonstrated understanding and application of relevant NSW Workers compensation laws and the associated regulations

  • You have previous experience working as a case manager or a technical specialist background

  • Tertiary studies in Allied Health or Legislation is desirable
