The Workday Technical Lead will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting Workday solutions to meet the business requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of Workday architecture, integrations, customization and configuration capabilities. They will also play a key role in orchestrating integration requirements across the enterprise to ensure solutions are optimized.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise to understand business requirements and design scalable and efficient Workday integration solutions.  

  • Provide technical leadership in the design and support of Workday configurations, customizations, and integrations.  

  • Integration Management: Design and implement integrations between Workday and other systems, both internal and external. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.  

  • Execute deployment-related activities, business process design, unit testing and solutioning, and implementation support. 

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and configuration documentation.  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Talent, Product and Technology, to ensure the successful integration of Workday solutions.  

  • Stay updated on Workday releases and new features, providing recommendations for system enhancements and optimizations.  

  • Participate in the evaluation and adoption of new technologies that complement the Workday ecosystem. 

 What we're looking for

  • 5+ years relevant Workday experience configuring and deploying in all stages of the Workday project lifecycle, from planning and design phases through testing and deployment. 

  • Strong experience or certifications (including pro) in Core HCM and Vndly. We will consider non-certified experienced candidates. 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.  

  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead with a focus on Workday. 

  • Strong understanding of Workday architecture, configuration, and integration capabilities.  

  • Proficient in Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), and calculated fields.  

  • Integration experience with tools like Workday Studio, EIB and third-party connectors/APIs. 

  • Proven consultative skills to guide internal stakeholders to agreement of solutions in a timely manner. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
