A Website Content Specialist is responsible for supporting the management and maintenance of our website's content and functionality through a CMS platform (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager or Optimizely). Their key responsibilities include:
- Content Updates: Uploading, editing, and organizing text, images, videos, and other media to ensure the website is accurate and up-to-date.
- Basic Design Adjustments: Implementing minor design changes or updates, often using pre-existing templates or basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues with content display, broken links, or basic functionality within the CMS.
- Collaboration: Working with designers, developers, and marketing teams to ensure the website aligns with business goals and branding guidelines.
- CMS Maintenance: Ensuring the CMS platform and plugins are updated and functioning correctly, often with support from senior team members or developers.
- SEO Support: Applying basic SEO practices, such as optimizing meta tags, headings, and alt text for images.
This role is typically entry-level, providing foundational experience in website management and digital marketing, with opportunities to grow into more specialized or senior roles.
