TigerConnect is seeking a Web Engineer III to help us build the next generation healthcare collaboration platform using the latest Web frameworks and patterns. You’ll also be working with telephony and video (Telehealth), threaded messaging, real-time group communication and machine learning to solve the noise-to-signal ratio problems that cost lives in clinical settings.

You will be joining our team in Mexico, as part of a cloud-native, client-first engineering organization that works in modern ways and seeks to continuously improve. 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Develop and maintain complex web applications using React, Redux, and other JavaScript frameworks 

  • Implement user-friendly interfaces in collaboration with design and product teams 

  • Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and optimization of web applications for performance and scalability 

  • Independently manage tasks, engage in project planning, and ensure timely delivery of project components 

  • Actively participate in team discussions, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional teams 

  • Support junior team members, contribute to their development, and foster a positive team culture 

 

What You Bring: 

  • 5-7+ years of professional web development experience  

  • Skilled in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS 

  • Proficiency with React and Redux or similar state management libraries 

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling 

  • Skilled in writing efficient unit tests and performance optimization 

  • Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle escalated issues effectively. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with resilience and adaptability in dynamic environments 

  • Comprehensive understanding of the full stack, including the ability to grasp end-to-end software development flows encompassing both frontend, backend, and DevOps 

  • Fluent in written and verbal English 

 

Bonus Points: 

  • Contributions to open-source projects or an existing portfolio showcasing relevant work 

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, REST APIs, WebSockets, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies 

  • Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as React Testing Library, Jest or Enzyme 

  • Basic understanding of AWS to help with monitoring and troubleshooting of deployed services 

  • Experience developing across the stack, particularly with technologies such as Java, Node.js, Elixir, etc; this includes an understanding of both frontend and backend development processes and tools
