Day shift, Monday - Friday, 06:30 - 14:30
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
The Warehouse Tasker is responsible for the flow of work on the shipping dock. This position is accountable for LTO output and efficiency. This position oversees all finished goods shipping processes for the plant.
Monitor, assign and manage workflow of warehouse LTO's Monitor task queues to ensure timely completion of activity Work toward maximizing productivity output Resolve systems and inventory issues Prepare load plans for all outgoing trucks to ensure proper weight distribution on vehicles Adjust, fix, merge, split, disassociate or allocate tickets to orders as required to fill orders Transfer product locations for IDT's Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management
Qualifications & Requirements
Ability to function effectively in team environment Ability to give direction to peers in self-directed environment Quality decision making Strong problem solving skills Detail oriented/organization skills Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in a low supervised mode in a fast paced environment Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements
This position is considered a manufacturing environment with heavy machinery and equipment. Please note, this role may require additional availability during peak season hours and/or holidays per the business needs.
Lifting Requirements:
Moderate - Must be able to lift 0-50 lbs
Working Conditions:
Good - Noise levels are below 90 decibels so no hearing protection is required. The cooler and dock temperatures vary from 40 - 55 degrees F. The office is maintained at a comfortable temperature.
