SCOPE OF LEADERSHIP ROLE 

The VP Sales – North America will be responsible for leading and managing revenue generation for $1.3B+ business in the Industrial Powertrain Solutions (IPS) Segment of Regal Rexnord with a primary focus on driving market and revenue growth across all markets.  Scope of this role includes providing Sales Leadership throughout the United States and Canada. The role will be accountable for developing a comprehensive sales strategy and growth plan to exceed market share and revenue targets.  They will do this by providing leadership to and developing a high-performing sales team across the region.   

Location: Preference is for the role to be based in Milwaukee, WI (relocation provided), but will consider remote candidates as well.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Develop a comprehensive sales strategy and growth plan to exceed market share and revenue targets. 
  • Assess and evaluate all appropriate data points - including market, economic, & customer trends, market availability, competitor analysis, etc. to define and execute the Go-to-Market strategy for the Region.  Assess and manage all channel partner authorizations in alignment with the strategy.
  • Lead the development and attainment of key sales, product, profit, strategic positioning and related operating targets established for the region.
  • Provide strategic direction, leadership, and development of sales plans for the North America Sales team.
  • Provide leadership and operational excellence aligned with Regal Rexnord’s channel and partner sales strategy; developing and maintaining strong working relationships with our key distributor partners within the region.
  • Develop and implement business and marketing strategies to achieve consistent & profitable business growth in alignment with global and local teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end customers and distributors and develop strategies to leverage network for business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Generate forecast for sales secured, delivery, collection, sales backlog, and any other sales related issues.
  • Work with vertical leads on go to market strategy and execute thru regional sales structure.
  • Work closely with Operations/Engineering/Finance/HR and coordinate internal resources to meet sales goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement a talent strategy to attract, develop, and retain critical sales talent within the region.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS Engineering) 
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in sales/marketing and sales required; minimum 5 years in a Sales Leadership capacity. 
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing desired (experience selling products such as bearings, couplings, clutches, brakes, motors, drives, or similar products preferred)
  • Proven track record of leading and driving growth in a business supporting different industrial applications and product portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of international business dynamics, including market entry strategies, cultural nuances, and regulatory environments.
  • Adept at developing and implementing high-growth strategies that drive market share gains.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams across diverse cultures.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience implementing and leading change in sales process and cross selling initiatives.
  • Able to communicate and collaborate with global and local teams on complex and strategic issues, problem solving and gaining alignment.
  • Strong financial acumen, prior experience managing a P&L desired
  • Analytical skills to properly interpret data and develop strategic insights 
  • Flexibility for traveling 50%+ of the time
