About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as Vice President of Partner Sales – EMEA. Reporting directly to the SVP of Sales EMEA, this role is pivotal in driving market expansion and revenue growth through our partner ecosystem, including Global System Integrators (GSIs), Value-Added Resellers (VARs), and Strategic Technology Partners. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with proven experience in leading direct and indirect sales teams within high-growth SaaS organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan to align with Genesys’ partner strategy, focusing on growth, measurable outcomes, and clear priorities.
  • Balance long-term growth with short-term bookings, ensuring a customer-first approach.
  • Drive decision-making using insights from market dynamics, partner needs, and industry trends.

Partner Engagement:

  • Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with partners and customers across EMEA, leveraging consultative solution selling to drive mutual success.
  • Build and manage a strong network of senior-level executive relationships, fostering collaboration across functional areas.
  • Execute on a scalable strategy for partner growth that aligns with Genesys’ revenue objectives.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and coach a team of experienced Partner Account Managers (PAMs), fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and growth.
  • Inspire and mentor the team to exceed goals and build enduring partnerships.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee the partner sales pipeline, ensuring efficient and effective revenue generation.
  • Analyze performance data to optimize strategies, partnerships, and decision-making processes.
  • Drive measurable results through disciplined execution of business plans and accountability across teams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 10+ years in leading partner and direct sales teams in high-growth SaaS environments.
  • Domain Knowledge: SaaS expertise is essential; experience in the customer experience domain is highly desirable.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams while managing complex regional sales strategies (>$100m).
  • Partner Success: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining partner relationships, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret performance data to inform strategy and optimize partnerships.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong sense of urgency.
