JOB SUMMARY
The Vice President of Seamless Entertainment is responsible for leading the development and execution of a comprehensive video streaming app marketing strategy to drive user acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention. This position will oversee all aspects of app marketing - including marketing campaigns, activation, social media promotion and analytics - to maximize app growth to reach business objectives. Responsible for providing comprehensive marketing reports to senior executive audiences, highlighting key insights and ROI, and for the end-to-end app customer experience.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement holistic app marketing strategies aligned with company objectives, including market segmentation, engagement, activation, monetization, and retention tactics, and oversee the creation and distribution of app marketing content, including videos, graphics, case studies to engage users and build brand awareness.
  • Build and manage external relationships and commitments with Spectrum's Programmer partners. Work closely with the Programming team to manage the strategic relationships and create campaigns and opportunities to enhance the Spectrum brand.
  • Promote applications, driver user engagement, and build a community of app users through the management of social media strategies, the development of compelling app messaging and value propositions that resonate with users, and the optimization of listings with compelling descriptions, keywords, and visuals to improve app discoverability and ranking.
  • Monitor and analyze performance to identify areas of improvement, track key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and data driven adjustments, and create an optimal customer experience through ongoing research, testing and analysis (removing barriers to achieving key milestones).
  • Partner with research teams to identify trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies; work with sales, product development, customer operations and others to ensure alignment and synergy across business functions and to identify and pursue new opportunities to drive sales and activations.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Ability to lead, build and develop a highly effective marketing team.
  • Ability to communicate verbally, in writing, and through formal presentations across all organizational levels and audiences, both internally and with external stakeholders and vendors.
  • Ability to influence across the organization, including at the senior executive levels.
  • Ability to think analytically and strategically, developing informed decisions and translating strategies into solid implementation plans that drive results.
  • Knowledgeable of the app marketing landscape, including app optimization and user strategies.
  • Proven track record of successful launches and scaling app marketing campaigns
  • Highly proficient in marketing campaign development and execution and launching and scaling app marketing campaigns.
  • Highly proficient in marketing principles, including direct marketing, digital marketing, social media, content marketing and brand
  • Proficient in finance and accounting, in particular with respect to understanding business results and developing and presenting budgets and business plans.
  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, database tools.


Required Education
Bachelor's degree required.
