🚀 About the Role

In this position, you’ll play a critical part in advancing Carbyne’s mission!

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Marketing to lead our global marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies. Reporting to the COO, this individual will work closely with the executive team to drive brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of Carbyne.

🎯 Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy that aligns with Carbyne's business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and challenges in the public safety technology sector.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to define and prioritize marketing initiatives that drive growth and market penetration.

Brand Management:

  • Oversee the development and execution of brand positioning, messaging, and identity.
  • Ensure consistent and compelling brand representation across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
  • Lead the creation of high-impact marketing materials, including collateral, presentations, and digital content.

Demand Generation:

  • Design and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns to drive lead acquisition and conversion.
  • Implement marketing automation and CRM strategies to nurture leads and optimize the customer journey.
  • Analyze campaign performance and ROI, making data-driven decisions to enhance effectiveness.

Digital Marketing:

  • Develop and manage digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Optimize the company's online presence, ensuring a strong digital footprint and user engagement.
  • Leverage analytics and insights to continuously improve digital marketing efforts.

Sales Enablement:

  • Partner with the sales team to create and deliver impactful sales enablement tools and resources.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on marketing initiatives, product positioning, and competitive differentiation.
  • Align marketing and sales efforts to ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy.

Team Leadership:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages creativity and results-oriented thinking.
  • Set clear goals and KPIs for the marketing team, tracking progress and driving accountability.
Requirements
🔑 What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on technology or SaaS industries.
  • Public Safety and/or B2G experience - highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
  • Passion for public safety and technology.

The pay range for this position in New York City is $190,000 - $230,000 + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401K). Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
