The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven and experienced VP of Sales to lead and grow our enterprise sales function. You will play a critical role in shaping our Go-To-Market strategy and driving revenue growth by acquiring and expanding relationships with Fortune 500 companies across key verticals: CPG/Retail, Agencies, Tech, Travel, and Media/Entertainment.


This position is based in NYC with an in-person requirement of three days per week at Qloo's HQ in the heart of Soho.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for enterprise sales, aligning with overall company goals and market trends.
  • Analyze market trends, identify new opportunities, and develop go-to-market strategies for key verticals.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and ongoing development.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.

  • Sales Execution:
  • Drive revenue growth by exceeding sales quotas and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead the sales process from initial prospecting to closing deals, including:
  • Identifying and qualifying high-value leads.
  • Developing and delivering compelling sales presentations.
  • Negotiating and closing complex deals.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at enterprise accounts.

  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard top sales talent.
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages professional growth and development.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and execute integrated go-to-market campaigns.
  • Provide valuable input on product roadmap and pricing strategies based on customer feedback and market insights.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of professional experience in Sales Leadership or Business Development, with a proven track record of success in selling and pitching APIs (preferably in API or Data sales) to enterprise clients.
  • Deep understanding of the enterprise sales landscape and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Exceptional leadership, mentorship, and team-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a results-oriented approach.
