About the Role

As the Sales Manager, Pre-Approval Advisors (SDR), you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of our sales team. You’ll lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing group of Pre-Approval Advisors (SDRs)—helping homebuyers take their first step toward homeownership with confidence. How you will make an impact:

  • Lead & Inspire a High-Performing Team – Guide a team of highly skilled Pre-Approval Advisors, fostering a culture of excellence, motivation, and results-driven success.
  •  Drive Performance & Exceed Targets – Leverage data-driven coaching and dynamic leadership to ensure your team consistently hits and exceeds monthly KPIs.
  • Listen, Coach & Elevate – Conduct daily call reviews, providing strategic, actionable feedback to enhance communication, objection handling, and overall performance.  
  • Empower Growth & Skill Development – Build deep relationships with your team, focusing on personalized coaching to help each member sharpen their skills and advance in their careers.
  • Hire & Onboard the Best Talent – Play a key role in rapid hiring, ensuring new team members are not just top performers but also seamlessly integrated into Tomo’s fast-paced, high-energy culture.
  • Analyze & Optimize for Maximum Impact – Dive deep into performance data and trends, identifying bottlenecks and implementing strategic solutions that drive efficiency and success.
  • Be a Voice for the Customer – Collaborate with product, engineering teams, and marketing teams providing valuable insights to enhance the customer experience and refine Tomo’s mortgage solutions.
  • Keep Leadership Informed & Aligned – Deliver regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership on team performance, key activities, and development opportunities.
  • Champion Continuous Learning – Foster an environment of ongoing training and skill development, ensuring every team member stays sharp and ahead of the curve.  Partner with the Sales Leadership team to continue build and innovate our Sales Academy
  • Monitor & Accelerate Pipeline Success – Keep a pulse on daily pipeline activity, ensuring strong velocity, optimal conversion rates, and best-in-class customer service standards.
  • Implement Smart Performance Strategies – Deploy effective coaching and performance management plans, addressing challenges proactively and keeping documentation sharp when needed.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Proven Sales Expertise – 5+ years of high-impact sales experience, driving growth and exceeding targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Industry Knowledge Advantage – Preferred experience in FinTech, Mortgage, or PropTech, with a deep understanding of the home-buying journey and financial services landscape.
  • Dynamic Sales Leadership – 3+ years of leading and scaling high-performing inside sales or sales development teams, inspiring excellence at every level.

The expected annual compensation for this position will be between

$140,000$150,000 USD
