Position Description:
Lead the daily operations on VMware for the Harman enterprise as L2 support engineer, monitoring observation and react with emendations based on SOP, work with other IT teams for troubleshooting.
Minimum Work Experience: 5 years
Position Requirements:
- Working experience installation & configuration of esxi
- Working Experience on Virtual machine creation.
- Working Experience on snapshot creation and deletion.
- Experience with VMware networking, VMware storage and permission management.
- working experience with Vsphere ( esxi , vcenter ) , Vsan, Vrops, Vro
- Knowledge on Content Library.
- Working Experience on vmotion, Storage vmotion.
- Creating a standard and distributed network port groups.
- Knowledge on vRops.
- Monitoring the alerts from vCenter and vRops.
- Knowledge on vCenter architecture.
- Work experience in raising the case with HP/Dell/Cisco.
- Working experience in remote management of hardware.
- Knowledge on any OS/VMware products is add on.
- Familiar with any enterprise backup software according to SOP documents
- Familiar with any enterprise SAN storage
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced level technical skillset
- Experience with analyzing data and preparing reports
- Familiarity with ITIL
